Simon Elson: I have been writing for years, I've written a couple of short plays, 'Ruthless Ruth' and 'Christmas Logistics' which have been performed in two different venues, and a radio play 'Radio Airport' which has been broadcast on several local radio stations. I started writing for a cycling website in 2014 and an article I wrote for it gave me the idea for my first Kindle book, Sugar Beat a non-fiction self help book on health and diabetes. The success of this book (it reached the bestsellers list in its two categories) gave me the determation to finally write a fiction book. The Novella 'The Ashes Debacle - A Ricky Spinner Adventure' is that book. I have plans (and plots) to write a trilogy based on Ricky's exploits. I still write for the cycling website 'Veloballs' and my own blog. I'm a keen cyclist (road bike or 'racer') and I'm married to Laura (my unofficial proof reader) and we have an eight year old Cub Scout.....
